LONA is a shared space of personal research, where we can explore the infinite possibilities of our dynamic body in constant relationship with space-time through our senses, playful instinct and our body consciousness. Always considering movement as a means and never as an end.
The sessions of the creation laboratory are focused on creating a spiral in our perception of movement. Going through very different places, exploring different levels, relating to form and repetition, with contemplation and with dynamic catharsis where we can face the limits of gravity and rhythm, always considering obstacles as potential springboards capable of moving us from a sincere, vibrant and pleasant place.
LONA is a movement research dispositive that encompasses my choreographic, photographic and cinematographic concerns, always with the body and movement as its main focus.
LONA is a space to explore ourselves, discover new dynamic perspectives and capture them in our personal vision, whether in the performing arts, in everyday life, in the audiovisual media or in any other practice where we really want to express our authenticity.
Choreographer, filmmaker and photographer, he had his first contact with dance in Rome, continuing his training later in Holland. There he graduated as a dancer at the Rotterdam Dance Academy (Codarts).
In his artistic career he has worked, among others, with companies such as IT Dansa (Barcelona), where he has danced works by Gustavo Ramírez, Alexander Ekman, Stijn Celis, Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Uri Ivgi and Rafael Bonachela; the Batsheva Dance Company, with which he participated in the Kamuyot project, under the direction of the Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin.
In 2010 he began his choreographer career, first leading his company Umma Umma Dance and from 2015 as a freelance choreographer. With his works he received several awards in national and international choreographic competitions.
Create your own LONA movement methodology by giving workshops in Europe and the Middle East. He is currently working on his new SOURCE creation, teaching LONA workshops and working on various audiovisual projects as filmmaker, choreographer and photographer.
