In this sessions we will work on essential and basic aspects of movement and dance. There will be two main study focuses:
1. We will attend to those fundamentals aspects to the movement: joint mobility, the organization between parts of the body, with space, and with gravity. We will study and experiment with plans, directions, axes, paths, levels, etc. and everything that derives from it: center-periphery relationship, balance-imbalance, movement, motion motors, etc. We will approach this part from curiosity, from sensory listening and anatomy, to improve the organization, functionality and richness of the body in motion, seeking efficiency and integration.
2. The other major focus of work will be directed towards those fundamental aspects that make the expressive, communicative and personal movement: qualities, tone, textures, rhythm, musicality … the use of time, space, look, the relationship with The others and the environment. With this work we will enrich our body vocabulary by having at hand a range of nuances for our dance.
In each session there will be time to work on these two approaches. We will use a diversity of practices: experiential anatomy, sensory awareness, movement exploration, improvised dance and the work of sequences, games, etc. As a whole, we will pay special attention to listening and delivering on what we do, seeking to expand our capabilities with care and pleasure.

what is tragantCamp?
Headquarters of tragantDansa located in the rural setting of l’Alzina de L’Aguda, in the Noguera region (Lleida).
It was born with the desire to be able to offer various activities in a natural environment, a place to enjoy and concentrate without the distractions, rhythm and stress that cities can generate.
what do we do?
MOVEMENT WORKS – DANCE – BODY PRACTICES – CONSCIOUSNESS – CREATION – ART – NATURE
- A program of Residential Courses during weekends, long weekends and holidays.
- Rental of spaces for groups, ensembles, companies or individuals who want to organize: workshops or courses, rehearsals, laboratories, work meetings, seminars or retreats, etc. in a space that allows concentration, coexistence and / or silence.
who are we?
14 years ago, Olga Tragant and visual artist Jaume Amigó, acquired some old chicken farms that had been in disuse for many years. Throughout this time they have been restoring these spaces. For years, the space held the work studio of artist Jaume Amigó and now we have recently opened a space for dance activities and body practices.
where are we?
tragantCAMP is located in l’Alzina de l’Aguda, an small village of 20 inhabitants located in the Noguera region (Lleida), between the towns of Guissona and Ponts, 125 km away from Barcelona and 110 km away from Lleida.
