HATHA YOGA

with Francis Trepels

To connect is, literally, the meaning of the word “yoga”. It also means focusing attention. Merging and uniting opposites. Bringing light into darkness, in the sense that the purpose of yoga is to overcome pain and suffering — in other words, to free yourself from the prison of the mind. You are not your thoughts, you are not your mind!

Although yoga originally is a spiritual path, hatha yoga mainly works through the physical aspect of the person, using dynamic and static postures, as well as movement sequences. Yoga is therefore a spiritual path while also benefiting our overall health.

Through specific postures focused on the seven main chakras, the flow of energy throughout the body is encouraged. This connects the mind, heart and belly with one another and restores balance to the whole body. Thinking, feeling and acting come together and once again become ONE.

DANCE: FEELING and MOVING / FEELING and DANCING

with Olga Tragant

Morning session: Feeling and Moving

While cultivating the pleasure of moving, we will introduce different proposals that help awaken the senses and movement.
During the morning sessions we will focus on exploring and discovering  many movement possibilities, finding new ways of feeling and moving through  sensory, anatomical and spatial awareness.

Afternoon session: Feeling and Danscing

In the afternoon Dance session, we will move towards proposals that research connection and communication, opening to space and to the others.
We will enrich the dialogue within ourselves and with others by  playing with essential movement elements such as rhythm, tone, weight and space as well as with the sense of touch and contact.  Practicing various dynamics and structures, and discovering movement qualities and ways of letting go, will help us to unfold our own movement/Dance and express ourselves with enjoyment and pleasure.

THAI MASSAGE combined with RELAXATION MASSAGE

with Francis Trepels

This massage is a true experience… you are touched with love and attention. With “traditional massage”, treatments are often focused on solving physical problems and releasing blockages.

Here we seek deep relaxation using Thai massage techniques combined with relaxation techniques, which also means slowing down the pace. Thai massage is sometimes called “yoga for lazy people”. Your body will therefore be placed in positions that may be familiar from yoga.
Touching and being touched — it is a vital human need! Being touched with affection helps you reconnect with yourself. You come home again… grounded, centered, and ready to face the world with confidence.

No oils are used. You wear comfortable lightweight clothing, and the work is done on mattresses on the floor.

MEDITATION

with Francis Trepels

The techniques we will practice come from Mindfulness meditation and Vipassanā.
We will cultivate the ability to appreciate the fullness of each moment we are living. Meditation helps us to realize our automatic functioning and proposes to listen to the nature of our mind through systematic and careful self-observation. The work of mindfulness allows us to develop greater awareness and clarity and accept the reality of the present moment.

No experience is necessary. The meditation will be seated. Sitting quietly on a cushion with your legs crossed or in a chair.
